74 Year Old Woman Finds Live Python In Her Toilet “Water Closet
A 74-year-old Pensioner from Schwanstetten in southern Germany could believe her eyes when she lifted her toilet sit and found a live Python in her Toilet, immediately she called the police, who tried to flush the serpent from its hiding place.
“However, the reptile was in no mood to show itself to the officers so the fire brigade was called in. They opened a manhole in the garden and were able to remove it from the plumbing,” a police statement said.
A snake expert was then called in as a reinforcement. She identified the serpent as a two-year-old royal python, normally not dangerous to humans, and offered to take it home until the owner steps forward.
“Until we have cleared up whom the reptile belongs to, the police have registered it as a lost item,” concluded the police statement”

Critics of NBC: Twitter account has been suspended after network complains
Guy Adams (Mashable) Guy Adams works as a writer for The Independent, a national newspaper in Great Britain. He lives in Los Angeles. Throughout the Olympics, he's taken to Twitter and ripped NBC repeatedly for its coverage of the Games in America.
Namely, he's criticized the network's reliance on using tape delays, a frustration shared by millions of viewers.
Only in a marriage of old media and social media, Guy Adams no longer has a Twitter account. It was suspended Tuesday, and both NBC and Twitter ought to be humiliated by their thin-skinned, heavy-handed, and essentially pointless behavior.
Adams was no doubt relentless in his tweets.
"Am I alone in wondering why NBC Olympics think it is acceptable to pretend this road race is being broadcast live?" he wrote in one.
"Matt Lauer: ‘Madagascar, a location indelibly associated with a couple of recent animated movies,'" he mocked on another.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde: I Did not Love My Husband At First
And then, no question about
the sort of relationship they both share is complete without the shapely
actress saying, “If I had not married him, I would not have married anyone
else.”.
And this is quite understandable, as their union of 16 years has weathered the storm and is one of the few in the industry that is scandal free.
Surprisingly, the actress says scandals are expected when an individual is famous. As such, they add up in making her life story more interesting. She adds that she is not bothered because her husband is very understanding.
“It would have been extremely painful if my husband takes things to heart, then it would have been a roller coaster ride for me and then I have to go through the problem again and again. God has been great you know, ‘the guy no get wahala,” She quips.

Policeman Murders Makoko Monarch
It is bad enough that they have lost
their ancient homeland, but it is even worse that they have also now lost their
king. And the residents of Makoko are kitting up for whatever war they can
manage to wage against the Lagos State Government for making them lose both
their kingdom and their king.
The displaced residents of Makoko
community are billed today to march on Alausa, the seat of
government, to display their displeasure against their displacement.
A resident who spoke to ThisDay,
Agbodemo Isola, said the protest would take off from Makoko to the Government
House at Alausa, Ikeja. He said: "We are going to protest the murder of
our ‘baale’ at Alausa on Monday. It is quite unfortunate that since the
incident happened the government has not sent any representative. "For
now, we are mobilising for the baale's service of songs and we've gone to see
his three widows and the 14 children he left behind."
The bulldozers were unleashed on the
community a week ago, crushing and squeezing the wooden buildings that served
as their homes, which they had erected on the lagoon for over a hundred
years. Makoko, before its demolition, was such a degenerate slum that served as
home to over 85,000 persons.
